Those Aren't MY Boyfriend's Jeans

I would like to know who categorized loose, slouchy, ripped jeans as “boyfriend jeans.” Who ever said our boyfriends wear this style jean? And if they do you should stop reading this and go out and buy your man a new pair of straight leg skinnies. Back to the term “boyfriend jeans.” When I walk into J Crew and see the “boyfriend” jean sign next to these loose slouchy jeans I ask myself: where are MY boyfriend jeans because those are definitely not what MY boyfriend’s jeans look like. My boyfriend wears skinny jeans. So I think we should stop this “pretend poser boyfriend jean” trend and be more authentic with it. If you want to be fluent in this trend and not sound like a foreigner wear your actual boyfriends’ jeans.

We all know why Halloween is such a big hit to both genders. It’s the only time that girls have an excuse to look like a complete whore and guys get to walk around staring at them as they desperately yell (not literally), “Look how sexy my “Alice in Wonderland” costume is!” wearing nothing but booty shorts and a top they call a dress… Here are a few costume ideas that may not yell sexy at first glance, but come on what’s sexier than a girl with ORIGINALITY?

While not all tangible things in this world have the ability to communicate verbally, everything I see speaks to me in some form or another. Whether it is my mother telling at me to stop shopping online or the perfect vintage Chanel jacket begging “I’m yours, take me home with you, you won’t regret it!” everyone is equally heard in my book. That is, everything that has a stitch or a heel or encompasses some aspect of style. Fashion is a form of communication. Everything we wear and how we wear it speaks differently, that is, in the eye of the viewers; they encompass different moods and feelings, and most of all, speak at a range of volume levels. Everyone speaks a unique language when it comes to fashion and everyone perceives something a little bit different, but this is what I’m hearing. Listen up!
